GLOWry Terms of Service

Welcome to GLOWry (the "App"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of GLOWry and related services provided by GLOWry ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian enabling a child to use the App, you agree to these Terms on the child's behalf.

Relationship to Apple's EULA

Your use of GLOWry is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms supplement Apple's EULA. Where conflicts arise, these Terms apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them.

Eligibility & Accounts

  • The App is designed for individuals aged 17+ and for families under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
  • Parents/guardians manage accounts and are responsible for all activity under those accounts.
  • Keep login credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorized use.
  • Guest mode is available; guest data will not sync across devices.

Content & User-Generated Content

The App provides Bible verses (KJV and WEB translations in the public domain), affirmations, guided prayers, and educational reflections. While we strive for accuracy, content may occasionally contain errors—please report issues to support@glowryfaith.com.

If you create journal entries or reflections:

  • You retain ownership of your content.
  • You grant GLOWry a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, and sync the content solely to operate the App and provide iCloud sync.
  • We never share or sell journal entries; they exist only to serve you.
  • You represent that the content does not violate third-party rights.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the App unlawfully or in violation of these Terms.
  • Harass, harm, or impersonate others.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service.
  • Reverse engineer or scrape data from the App.
  • Share credentials or circumvent security measures.

Intellectual Property

The App (text, graphics, UI, logos, affirmations, prayers, software) is owned by GLOWry and protected by law. Except as permitted by Apple's EULA and these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit the App without prior written consent. Bible verses (KJV/WEB) are public domain.

Subscriptions & Payment Terms

GLOWry offers auto-renewing subscriptions sold via Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. "Restore Purchases" is available in-app.

Features: Daily verse (KJV or WEB) with reflection prompts, full verse library with search and themes, 22 premium backgrounds from diaspora artists, enhanced journal with contextual tags and search, streak tracking with milestones, iCloud sync across devices.

Glory Promise

  • Monthly: $11.99
  • Yearly: $99.99

Features: Everything in Glory Path plus 20+ guided prayers with soundscapes, 3 traditional prayers (Lord's Prayer, Serenity Prayer), audio read-aloud for every verse, Talk to Verse AI-powered Q&A, priority support, and early access to new features.

GLOWry Eternal (Lifetime)

  • One-time payment: $199.99

Features: Lifetime access to all Glory Promise features with all future updates included.

Trial & Refunds

  • All new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial of premium tiers.
  • Trials convert to paid subscriptions if not cancelled before the trial period ends.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Pricing changes are communicated by Apple, and you may cancel before renewal if you disagree.

Privacy

Your privacy matters. Review our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, usage, and your rights. We do not use your data for advertising or sell personal information.

Third-Party Services

  • Apple / App Store – purchases and subscription management.
  • Apple iCloud – private data storage and sync (your personal account).
  • Apple Sign In – secure authentication.
  • RevenueCat – subscription verification and entitlements.

Disclaimers

GLOWRY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED) INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLOWry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount paid via App Store subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, suspected fraud, or legal requirements. You may stop using the App and cancel subscriptions anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. Local data remains on your device.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by US law. Please contact us at support@glowryfaith.com for informal resolution before filing a claim. Where permitted, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules. You agree to resolve disputes individually (no class actions) unless prohibited by law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted in the App with a new "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, in-app notifications. Continued use of GLOWry after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Entire Agreement & Severability

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's EULA, form the entire agreement between you and GLOWry regarding the App. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
